A “trust” is defined as a legal arrangement in which an individual (or “trustor” or “settlor”) gives fiduciary control of property to a person or an institution (the “trustee”) for the benefit of beneficiaries. This section gives examples of the various kinds of trusts: “Revocable Trusts,” “Living Trusts,” “Domestic Asset Protection Trusts,” “Estate Trusts,” etc.
